We usually hide, so that no one will find us. We can choose whether to hide or not, but there is a place where we ALL hide- behind the mask which is our own personality (In Latin, “persona” means mask).

Traditionally, the personality is the ensemble of the tools we have to manifest ourselves in the world: the tools we use to capture and organize ideas, our emotions, our vitality and of course our physical body. But the question remains… Who hides behind the mask? Is it a soul or a spirit? What is the accurate definition of “I”, our “Real Self”?

For sure someone activates the mask, and the main question of the philosophical quest is to find that “someone”. Socrates said “Know Thyself’.

Some things don’t change, and some questions are still relevant.
