This photograph was taken at the Bangalore domestic airport, while waiting for a plane to Mumbai. It reminds me that each human being is an entire universe. We all have our own culture, our paradigms and our subjectivity and those differences are shown in our behavior.

The photograph becomes a medium which reveals those differences, but also reveals that despite those differences, or better yet: beyond those differences, we are all part of the same unique Humanity. These people choose to sit, and regardless of what they are doing to occupy their time, they share the same space and time, and they are all waiting to board the same plane. At the end, we are not so different from one another. We all belong to the same Humanity.
