Most of the time when I shot a photo with my camera while walking in the street I don’t really know why I am taking the shot. I discover it later when looking at the picture on my computer’s screen. It is often a surprise, but the trigger is always a sort of a tension, a contrast. In this case, it is the “woman in white” walking with a natural elegance among the workers, in a more or less chaotic building site in the city of Bangalore, India.

It reminds me that beauty is always present around us. Sometimes veiled… thus it should be unveiled. But it is here and there, like hope… it is part of life.
